Nevertheless, battery wastes may also offer a business opportunity in terms of providing a valuable secondary source of materials needed for LIBs fabrication. The existing recycling technologies, such as pyrometallurgy, hydrometallurgy, or direct recycling, are constantly developing by combined efforts of the research community and industry.
